Hi! I’m Britt Meagan
I’m a 30-something year old, lesbian, neurodivergent author, living with my fiancee (what!) and my dog. I love writing a blend of genres; fantasy/sci-fi, horror/cozy fantasy, a mix of both, with a dash of romantic subplot.
I’m not published, yet, so for now you can read snippets of what I’m working on here, on my website, for both Gamer Girls and Where the Poppies Bloom.
And yes, both are sapphic!

Echoes, a video game Leah thought she had a firm grasp on, seemed like the perfect place to explore Game Development as a college major. Problem is, the device she used to enter the game isn’t working and now she’s stuck. What’s worse, Leah doesn’t know the game half as well as she’d thought and outsider or not, the machines are still after her.
Gamer Girls
the strong warrior and main character of the game whose help Leah desperately needs. Nobody knows this world and its inhabitants as well as her and, fortunately for Leah, their quests overlap. But what happens when Leah becomes more and more immersed with the game, and Valda seems to become more and more human?
Is there a way back for Leah at all?
Enter Valda,
Where the Poppies Bloom
Poppy is a twenty-eight year old woman, living her best, whimsical, cottagecore life in the house her mother left behind when she passed. She sells her fresh fruits and vegetables at the market, hangs out with her girlfriend, and generally enjoys her pretty ordinary life.
Though Poppy’s life is not as ordinary as she’d like it to be, plagued by her frequent, unwanted trips to Underland, which leave her mind frazzled upon return. If she wants these trips to stop, she’ll have to do something about it herself.
For now, steering clear of the sunflowers at the back of her garden seems like her safest bet.
